With effect from Mid December, one of India’s major job portals imposed a restriction of 50,000 views per user. For every additional view the user would have to pay Rs. 1.50 for every resume. A subscriber of this portal who has three users could until now download about 11,000 resumes per week, in essence allowing the user to access 5,72,000(Five lakh Seventy two thousand resumes) every year. With the new restriction, a three user subscriber would be able to view/download 1,50,000(one lakh Fifty Thousand Resumes), which effectively would entail the subscriber pay for the remaining Four lakh twenty two thousand downloads(4,22,000), which translates(4,22,000 times Rs. 1.50) into an additional Six lakhs Thirty three thousand rupees(Rs. 6,33,000/-) for the same facilities available till now. We have been using Pranav Waltz, as a front end, with our in-house Applicant Tracking System, LCMS to build and nurture a qualitative and a pristinely clean central database. Waltz, a recruitment accelerator, provides an efficient framework to add resumes in a quick and error free manner.

Waltz has been used to upload the resumes from diverse sources including our historical database, since May 2010. . The inbuilt parsing component is reasonably good.
